Solar And Lunar Myths In Pregnancy:-
Pakistani and Indian culture in particular has many myths and superstitions surrounding eclipses, particularly with regard to pregnant women. Others think that expectant mothers should not sleep, take a bath or cut anything including fruits and vegetables during the eclipse as these are believed to result to birth marks or any form of skin imperfection on their babies.
Though most of these ideas are quite familiar, it is necessary to accept that they are not grounded in scientific reality. Professionals and doctors as a whole distances themselves from any health dangers associated with a pregnant woman or her unborn baby, all due to the occurrence of a solar eclipse.
